Mathematical Olympiad Training
Develops divergent thinking and scientific intuition, significantly enhancing problem-solving skills, while greatly improving reasoning ability and the rigor of logical thinking.
- Provides a decisive advantage when applying to world-renowned universities and for scholarship opportunities.
- Far surpasses standard math curricula, delivering a confidence boost through advanced mastery.
- Olympiad training offers substantial benefits for future STEM studies. In fact, students without Olympiad preparation often show a clear gap in learning capability compared to those with intensive training. Mathematical sciences and engineering are fundamentally built upon mathematics—especially today, as the widespread application of AI drives an unprecedented surge in demand for advanced mathematical expertise. Cutting-edge technologies inevitably rely on mathematical models and algorithms.
- Recommended starting point: Grade 5 (or Grade 4 for early starters), with continuous participation through high school.
- It is highly recommended to attend intensive summer camps of 1–2 months each year, with classes from Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day. This training model has proven highly effective.
- Students can choose to take part in math competitions held in Spain, or they may also join the American AMC series competitions at the same time. The following are some recommended options:
- Concurso de Primavera de Matemáticas, organized by Complutense University of Madrid. This is a fun-oriented contest: Level 1 for Grades 5–6; Level 2 for Grades 7–8; Level 3 for Grades 9–10; Level 4 for Grades 11–12.
- Olimpiada Matemática Fase Local Comunidad de Madrid, organized by the Spanish Mathematical Society. Students can enter starting from Grade 9. Top performers advance to the Spanish Mathematical Olympiad (Olimpiada Matemática Española), and the national winners will represent Spain at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
- AMC series (American Mathematics Competitions). AMC 8 for Grades 7–8; AMC 10 for Grades 9–10; AMC 12 for Grades 11–12. These contests have official testing centers in Spain (registration link available). High scorers may also qualify for the AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination).
- With expert guidance and personal dedication, anyone can excel in mathematics—and with natural talent, one can achieve extraordinary results.
High School Math Intensive Class
This course is tailored to the EvAU exam syllabus for the Madrid region, designed to help students strengthen their mathematical foundation and achieve top scores in the EvAU.
- The course begins with focused, topic-based instruction, paired with intensive practice exercises to ensure mastery of key concepts.
- The latter part of the course primarily focuses on explaining actual EvAU exam questions, designed for practical, exam-oriented preparation.
- In Madrid, the high school grading system is as follows: first-year regular grades account for 30% of the total score, second-year regular grades account for 30% of the total score, the EvAU exam score accounts for 40% of the total score, and an additional maximum of 4 bonus points can be obtained.
- o apply to public universities in Madrid, students typically need a math score of at least 9 out of 10; for top-tier institutions, a score of 9.5 or above may be required. Mathematics is a core subject for science and engineering majors, making strong math skills essential.
- Tuition at private universities averages around €25,000 per year, while public universities cost approximately €1,000 annually—and public institutions in Spain are generally regarded as offering higher-quality education.
Middle School Math Advanced Class
Targeted, intensive training for junior high students! This course is designed to boost problem-solving abilities, nurture mathematical thinking, reduce anxiety around math, and build long-lasting confidence.
- Our program helps students consistently achieve scores above 9 out of 10, building a strong academic record early on.
- Middle school is a pivotal stage, as it directly shapes a student's momentum for the challenges of high school. Mathematics training at this stage lays a solid foundation for future success.
- During middle school, students are highly adaptable — it is a golden period to shape thinking patterns and learning habits, which will have a profound and lasting impact on their academic path in high school and beyond.
- Consolidate what has already been learned, while going deeper to strengthen core mathematical foundations.
- Learn essential techniques and content that may not be covered in school classes — expanding horizons, sharpening mathematical understanding, and boosting problem-solving skills.
- Separate programs are offered for students in the Spanish curriculum and the British/American international systems — ensuring thorough preparation for Spain's EvAU exam or overseas study in the UK and US.
- Exceptional value for money, with educational quality far beyond that of similar programs. Our teaching surpasses that of any secondary school in the world, and the service we provide goes well beyond what even a €2,000-per-month international school can offer.
